PFL has been one of the leaders within the ILF and the world in addressing the needs of children with lymphoedema. They organised, with University Hospital of Montpellier (CHU Montpellier), the very first international children’s camp in Montpellier, France, during the ILF Conference in that city in 2012 and are responsible for further camps since then. Professor Isabelle Quéré, who heads up the team at Montpellier and is a Director of the ILF has just published a paper in the journal Lymphatic Research and Biology entitled “International Camps for Children with Lymphedema and Lymphatic Anomalies: When Education Links with Psychosocial Research” (Isabelle Quére ́, MD, PhD, Elodi Stasi, PhD, Sandrine Mestre, MD, PhD, Jochen Roessler, MD, PhD, Dario Roccatello, MD, PhD, and Christine Moffatt, CBE, PhD, MA RGN FRCN).
Amongst other research shown in this paper is the research that the ILF did at the second camp which was published in 2019.
The publishers are giving free access to Professor Quéré´s article online until 28 March 2021. It can be found at:
