Dr. Arthur Boganza is a clinical epidemiologist working with the department of pulic health in Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda.
He has worked for many years with people with disabilities, supporting in particular the work of the
Lymphedema Warriors Association Uganda (LWAU), and groups working in the field of cerebral palsy. He established the Ugandan Lymphoedema Framework in 2023 and ran the first LIMPRINT study in a low-income country.
He is a competent leader and was elected chief executive officer of the International Lymphoedema Framework during 12th International Conference in October 2025 held in Niagara, Canada.
