The Anatolian Lymphedema Association (ALA) organises its third Lymphedema Symposium this autumn in Izmir, Turkey, between 5 – 6 October 2018.
The symposium will present international speakers, including ILF chair Christine Moffatt and former ILF director, Vaughan Keeley.
The number of patients with lymphoedema is increasing more and more every year and early diagnosis and treatment of lymphoedema has gained great importance. ALA’s annual symposium on lymphoedema with multidisciplinary approaches, scientific sessions and workshops provides an opportunity to share the current information and the expriences of lymphedema specialists.
In this third symposium, where lymphedema will be approached in all its parts by physical, functional and pyschosocial terms, patient education meetings will be held, awareness will be increased and ways to reach early diagnosis treatment will be shared with the patients.
